October was social knitting with so much going on! We had pumpkin and apple pies, as well as donuts to snack on.
We had a special Halloween themed raffle for gorgeous hand dyed yarn with a pumpkin bag donated by Julia, accompanied by a "poison" notions bag donated by Tanya. Thank you so much for your generosity. There also was a bingo game with a prize donated by ChiaoGoo. Kate, and a few other members, were able to tour their warehouse in Troy, which is certain to make you feel like a kid in a candy shop! Stayed tuned about a knit night at ChiaoGoo's warehouse in the near future.
Knitted Knockers:
The highlight of the night was the total count of the Knitted Knockers that several members worked on. Once again, Judith organized another wonderful charity project for us! A total of 109 sets (230 individuals) were knitted, stuffed, sized, and tagged. Thank you, Judith! Your commitment to keep us involved in charity projects is greatly appreciated!

November is the Holiday Baa-zaar during our regular guild meeting. Members will be selling knitting related items and holiday crafts. We will also have a special visit from the Labor Of Love yarn truck.
Nominations for Vice President begin at the November meeting. Want to be more involved with the guild?? Know somebody that would be a great leader?? Put a name in the running (elections will take place at the December meeting).
