We had a great time last night at our April meeting and we had a new member - Karen F. and a visitor - Michelle A.

Merritt C. gave a wonderful trunk show of many of her knit projects. Here are some pictures that will give you just a small idea of what she does.
If you missed this meeting and are interested to learn more about Merritt's projects or how she knits them, make sure you come to our next meeting. Merritt will be more than happy to talk with you at that time.
Speaking of our next meeting, it will be the last of the season and we will be having a member swap and sale and desserts. Member swap and sale means just that. Bring yarn, books, notions, etc. that you don't want any more. Put a price on your items if you want to sell them or swap with another person for something they brought.
Our retreat will take place on May 2-4 and our last meeting is May 13. We still have openings if you decide you'd like to join us at the retreat. The weather is definitely on the upswing and our incredible door prizes are arriving daily! So think about it. Any questions, feel free to contact Donna M. or Harriet A.
See you either at Panera, the retreat or the May meeting. Knit on, fellow Black Sheep!
We meet the second Tuesday of each month from 6:45-8:45 p.m. :: Doors open at 6:15 p.m.
Guild Meetings — September through May :: Summer Camp — June through August
NEW LOCATION: Lower Level :: Huntington Woods Library, 26415 Scotia Rd, Huntington Woods, MI 48070
Bring your knitting and join us for an evening — we’re sure you’ll want to become part of the flock!

Fiber Expo in Ann Arbor, while not as large as the fall show, still there was a fine selection of vendor with lots of fiber and lovely yarn. Needless to say there was a bit of stash enhancement.

The following Saturday, it was off to Bowling Green for the Black Swamp Spinners Guild Market Day & Fiber Fair. An annual spring BSKG field trip, with many of the guild’s favorite vendors. So worth the drive. There was a lot of stash enhancement to say the least.
