This announcement was put in Ravelry today:
The Black Sheep Knitting Guild http://bskg.blogspot.com and Mittens for Detroit http://mittensfordetroit.org are happy to announce that tickets for Stitch ‘N Pitch are now available at the Detroit Tigers website, http://detroittigers.com/stitch. The game is Sunday, September 28th at 1:08 p.m. Your ticket price includes an Upper Box ticket in the Stitch ‘N Pitch section and a Detroit Tigers Stitch ‘N Pitch T-Shirt. Please order your tickets by the end of August to guarantee seating in the Stitch ‘N Pitch section.
Bring men's mittens (machine washable, please) to donate to Mittens For Detroit for the Michigan Veteran’s Foundation http://michiganveteransfoundation.org and receive an entry to win a fabulous prize!
If you choose to make your mittens, you can use any mitten pattern you wish. Ravelry has plenty available and Mittens for Detroit also has a free pattern http://mittensfordetroit.org/patterns on their website. If you’re not inclined to make mittens, you may also donate store bought mittens.
For further information or to order 15 or more tickets please contact Michelle Fields at (313) 471-2221 or email michelle.fields@detroittigers.com.
If you prefer to order with others in the Guild (so you know for sure that you'll sit together), please contact Charli Osborne at mirable@comcast.net. Order asap! If you have any questions, please let us know.
